Once again the lovely Mia Wasikowska has been featured on the cover of a magazine.

Between acting jobs she returns to the family home in Canberra: “I still have the same room I’ve had my whole life”

To land the role of Alice, she had to fly to London three times in as many weeks, she said: “I had no body clock and was starting to feel delirious”

Girl most likely, why she think she’s succeeded where so many others have failed: “It’s such a random thing, right time, right place, luck, yes and a lot of hard work as well, I don’t know, it’s a mysterious industry.”

Comparisons to her namesake Mia Farrow and cutting off her hair: “I was happy to cut it off, I’m sure people would have liked me to keep it in its Alice state, but I’ve had hair down to here for the past two years” she says, pointing to her waist. “It’s great not to have to do anything with it in the morning and I was also happy to donate it to Locks of Love who make wigs for kids (who’ve lost hair through illness).”

I recently got my copy of EW, with the Mad Hatter on the cover. And here are the scans! I personally like the Willy Wonka page with my favorite quote from the film.

As for her on-screen kissing prowess, Anne revealed that she has a lot to learn from another top-name Hollywood actress- Angelina Jolie.
“It’s a totally different experience. But really you have to be Angelina Jolie to pull that off and still look good. I don’t know if you’ve noticed, but I ain’t no Angie.”

Mia has an interview in Teen Vogue Magazine. The article goes into depth about Wasikowska’s past, work as an actress, experience making Alice, and her future projects.

“Alice in Wonderland” is just the beginning for Mia, who is set to take on another leading role in Jane Eyre, opposite “Inglourious Basterds” star Michael Fassbender. “I’m completely excited,” she gushed to the magazine. Though she is bubbly and excitable, Mia is wise for her age. She has two things that are often hard to balance: perspective and passion. “As a teenager I was very anxious. I had a lot of energy and passion that I wanted to channel into creative things, and I always felt like I wasn’t achieving enough.” We think it’s safe to say she’s made up for that now.
